Janette Ayachi
Janette Ayachi is an Edinburgh-based poet who graduated from Stirling University with a combined BA Honours in English Literature and Film Studies. She then went on to study a Masters in Creative Writing at Edinburgh University, published essays and poetry in over forty literary international journals and anthologies including Poetry Salzburg Review, Agenda, The Istanbul Review, New Writing Scotland, and The French Literary Review. She has been shortlisted for Write Queer London, StAnza, competitions and a Lancelot Andrewes Award. Currently she is collaborating with artists, editing the Undertow Review, is Stirling Councils’ poet of the month, and is performing her poetry around Scotland. She has two young daughters and is the author of poetry collections Pauses at Zebra Crossings and A Choir of Ghosts.
On Meeting a Fox
